So is the 787, while it was here in MEL, they had a big push to VA
Any virgin international expansion wil be to asia on routes not flown by any aliance member (unless both want expansion of services) hint hint: think cns-singapore, ml-Hk to meet up with Atlantic. Oz - china. Etc
Virgin knows what qantas know knows. Australia is not well suited geographically or ecconomically (against national run airlines) to be a major long haul player. That's why JB has picked the best alliances he can. ( singapore, delta and ethiad) they will do that. Any place in the world with one stop. The future will be Asia for virgin international expansion and it won't be the 787.!
(and Singapore and ethiad both have 350 orders and ethiad just cancelled another 7 opening up those slots) mmmm I wonder.
