Judging from the in-cockpit BBMF footage (
here) the flypast line is directly along the Mall. The apparent skew in the photographs from above is probably due to drift angle (ie crosswind).
Slightly concerned that the Lanc captain appears to be unsure about the deconfliction plan just as they pass over the Palace!
