I would recommend just starting off with 2 mobile phones (if married!) and a fast broadband only deal.
Then talk to people here about tv. Personally I used to have NOW tv but it was rubbish so I stopped at the earliest opportunity. I now get tv through the internet from my home country using a VPN (Strong works for me but there are many providers). I hear that some people also use a bit torrent programme but that may be illegal...
