We're seeing more and more restrictions on operating into the LHR CTR. Every time a TRA / RA(T) (or whatever they calling them this year), the NOTAM fails to mention the obviously needed revised rules and procedures for getting to and from EGLW. So far we've had to rely on phone calls, rumours and chinese whispers. We're a few weeks away from the Olympics and we STILL don't know how we're supposed to operate into the only licensed heliport in London, or if we actually can do so.
It's absolutely pathetic, in my opinion. The onshore helicopter industry is struggling; this lack of direction hardly makes it any easier!
