But if you bother to read the press report in post #26 you'll see it is Stobarts that have twice requested the postponement of the decision, not the council. If this proposal has already been through a public inquiry and a judicial review it's clear it has been seriously flawed in the past. Little wonder, with that history, that all parties are treating it with extreme caution.
