A plan in the system would help.
Perhaps even a good network of VHF receivers and an onboard transmitter with ID, LAT LONG and all the other stuff............ I would reckon that should have been around for a while now....
Would not be all that expensive either when one is faced with a long wait for help.
Just sayin!
