Has anybody heard more about the DanCopter EC155 in Nigeria which supposedly flew through a cu-nimb a few weeks back and did severe damage to the head and transmission? If there's any truth to the rumour, Shell must be less than happy, with their prohibition on flying in the vicinity of thunder clouds
Caverton have just lost their Director of Operations to CHC and sadly, Dave Allen is very sick. Their former Head of Flight Operations on the Shell project has also resigned, so I guess it's not all happiness and light.
