smilingknifed: the numbers were rolling thick and fast and the discussion covered many things. I seem to recall a figure of around 80 total but I thought that was for everyone including the 30 (ish) in training and the 40 (ish) in the pool. I would not look to pack your bags yet. It would appear that recruitment is not foreseen for the rest of this year but all the talk was very positive and I expect the machine to start delivering pilots to the line training phase maybe just after march 31st next year. Thats just my take on it, but what I would say is the representative who spoke openly talked about the hold pool and was aware of who they had in the pipe line. The integration is a huge task and I think that has just temporarily paused the DEP. I know that may not make you feel better right now but I hope it will ease your concerns.
