The newspaper said Emirates president Tim Clark suggested in an interview that management at both airlines had moved on from the acrimony that ended a previous plan to elevate the existing interline agreement to a formal code share.
"I look at the way Qantas is today, and I think they would benefit from us as we would benefit from them," Clark was quoted as saying.
