757s have poor cargo which is EI's mainstay in lean times. The A330 on the other hand with its 222in cross section was designed for standard containers. Just because cabin half empty, flight not necessarily loss making. I wish Airbus had built an A310 follow on though with CCQ to A330/340 - they basically abandoned the 762 replacement market which is being inadequately filled by wingleted 757s.
