Interesting little repartee there though, have to admit, One Short Of A Fourex. Perhaps we all learnt something about T28 Trojans even if we will never fly them. My education on hydraulic undercarriage implications was reinforced 30 years ago watching the passengers scramble out of an Aztec on the runway, after the undercarriage collapsed on the takeoff roll. Seems after overnight maintenance the gingerbeers had left the gear handle in an up position, and the young Kiwi pilot hadn't picked it up on his Daily..?!, and had backtraced the full length of the runway just on the safety microswitch.. When the weight came off.. the prop tips bit the bitumen. Sorry no photo.. didn't have the camera handy.
