Yes it is funny as ezy cabin crew hearing passengers comment on the age of the FOs who love to stand at the front of the cabin showing proudly their two silver bars when they're waiting to go toilet. It's even funnier when you tell pax it's their first ever job. We have a cadet that looks about 12 who struts through the terminal even in winter with only his shirt on to show off his bars(and his giant flight trolley case) to show off his epaulettes. Makes me chuckle.
