FF i feel your pain! Maybe I was a little over harsh.
I'm just annoyed at the shortsighted view of the public. I'm betting your orange friends at bfs started out pound tickets till they forced decent airlines out and as you see now push fares to a higher level than BA, they play the long game. Also as an experienced pilot/cabin crew you approach them for a job as a friend of mine who was laid off from Thompson did they took full advantage offered a very poor contract and he had to pay for the job if he wanted it! Profiteering at its worst!!
