People have a right to re-routing under the EU travel directive and if they
choose this rather than a refund then it should be BA/IAG that bears the extra cost of the flights.
Not if they have been given more than 14 days notice - they are offered an alternative where available or refund. Up to the airline, they could just refund if they wanted to
