Yip, the BHD thread seem convinved that FR are about to come over the hill before Friday like a knight in shinning armour with even rumours of a base.
Fair play to BHD if they manage to pull it off or get any airline to commit before Friday which is their stated goal, afterall it has been clear for months that Flybe weren't going to renew the LDY-MAN route and yet we have been unable to pull any rabbits from any hats.
Anyway back to FR, does anyone think that they would return to BHD? I suppose money talks but there is still the runway issue and at this stage there isn't even a planning application for the extension.
P.S. - Carnmanorlad, I enjoyed your post on the BHD thread, but as to FR's commitment to LDY I don't think they will introduce any new domestic routes for City of Culture next year when even obvious continental opportunites such as Paris and Malaga are ignored.
No, I don't expect too many rabbits for LDY and City of Culture before this Friday or anytime after.
