P.S. The sidestick's only good reason for being is that it saves money (reduced weight), plus the benefit of having a clear dashboard. The industry has always maintained that cost vs./safety is an equation that needs to be balanced. I, for one, feel that's just wrong. Cost should
never trump safety.
