It certainly is Snailwell, just NE of Newmarket. The line of the old A11 (now renumbered A1304 just here) is the white streak towards the bottom right corner, and the more distinct road that clips the edge of the airfield is the old carriage-drive to Chippenham Hall, which has trees in the park laid out to represent the Battle of La Hogue.

Nothing is visible on the ground now except for a section of peri-track that looks suspiciously wide for a farm track. There's a small amount of flying there still, because Newmarket Model Flying Club have a small field pretty much in the centre of the old airfield.

Probably more than you wanted to know so....
