Don't worry about the time, my e-mail said that I was supposed to send my medical reports 3 days after acknowledging the e-mail. I waited 2 days before confirming anything bcs I didn't know where to do the medicals. When I decided in which hospital I'll do them, I e-mailed them and I asked for an extension of the given period to prepare all the docs. I asked for a week and there was no problem at all. As long as you inform them accordingly how much time you will need and why do you need it, everything will be fine. In most cases you will need the send them again some of the papers bcs they are very strict about what exactly your doctor should write, especially about the Thoracic Spine Alignment, so don't worry
