I guess you haven't gone through a phase where you were a STUDENT. And by the way not every Cessna 150, 152, 175 Indian Pilot writes Capt. as suffix in their CVs, so word like many INDIANS or SOME INDIANS would have been appropriate. Considering all those STUDENTS use suffix Capt. in their CV, as a senior couldn't you have corrected them??? Ohh wait, it's a courtesy

I am not saying that point raised by you was wrong, but the way you described it certainly was.
