MPL
Advantages
- Faster/shorter training time
- More emphasis on CRM, Glass Cockpit Training & Airline Procedures
- Many hours on Sims compared to GA planes
Disadvantages
- Cannot fly solo (assuming you wanna fly GA or do part time instructing)
- screwed if you don't get 1700hours to convert to ATPL
Cost between CPL and MPL should be roughly in the same region. It seems that alot of budget airlines prefer it as its more beneficial to them. There must be a reason for SFC to stick to conventional CPL.
