Do you think the 145's in appearance would please a passenger as compared to a 170 if one had to pick for a flight?
I think the 145s in a 50-seat configuration create opportunities to serve different markets than the larger E-jets do. If the ERJ-145 is competing head-on in a specific market with the E-Jets, one or the other is probably the wrong aircraft for that specific market. The optimal mission profiles for these aircraft are very different.
