Many thanks for all the good advice, I really wanted move away from HP desktops they are fast but reliability sucks they just exceed the 3 year extended warranty and die so real pain doing a new build. Currently have 4MB of RAM with 1MB of RAM on the graphics card. Seems like I may need to find another vendor for the CPU box, it would have been nice to break free from Windows......
