It gets a lock faster in the middle of nowhere with cellular data disabled; say, in the back of a 737 over the bight about 30 seconds after you put it next to the window. And when you come back to it after putting OzRunways in the background, it comes back straight away with the true ground speed, rather than it slowly increasing from 0 like the 1 and 2 do.
