I concur with the advice given above. All good tips.
What helped me through my study was the combination of books and CBT's (together with some of the advice given above), and frequently testing the material learnt when a chapter ended.
I quite like CBT's they are interactive and certainly gave me motivation to carry on. The negative side is they are a bit expensive but certainly helped.
