Skills test has a 12 month validity, and must be taken within 6 months of completing flight instruction.
So flying wise - you are back to square 1 (although you would presumably just need refresher training to get you back up to standard before re-taking the test).

I hope you are able to pick up the bug again in the future and get back into flying. I presume you just lost motivation at the end?
Unfortunately, even if you had managed to get the licence, not flying for that long would mean that you would have lost your licence again anyway
