I have no issue whether you come to Perth or not. I'm here now..

You're dreaming about what it would be like......we're living it.

I assume you are married with school age kids.

You can take the friendly advice and info for what it's worth....or not. They are not my opinions, they are facts and have been my experience. Sure you can find cheaper accom options, but would you or more importantly the wife, really want to live there??? I think you'll find the new Short Haul rostering/lifestyle a rude shock because we all have and we're already short haul.

So I guess it depends on your stage of life:
If you are young and single, then it's a no brainier- do it.
But if you have school age kids, a settled life where you are and no family ties to Perth, your family will pay a price for your 4 shiny bars- just make sure it's worth it to you and the family.

I'm HAPPY that I made the move(given QFs latest direction), but it comes at a high cost that is hard to contemplate until your there.

So come over....but I'd take off the rose coloured glasses.

Cheers and Good luck.
