'Climb unrestricted' is the ICAO standard phraseology so occasionally some overseas crews will question the 'Climb now' UK deviation. Typically late at night, if you hear obviously non-native pilots who are trying hard to give 'proper' RT, it can make things a lot simpler to just use 'Climb unrestricted'.
Neither party wants to waste the other's time asking for further clarification!
