Try to get through my PPL and ankle surgery sets me back 2 months. I get fit enough to try to fly and the weather closes in for the winter. I can't yet play my favourite sports so instead of those and flying I have been practising getting drunk for Christmas.
Also when people ask me "How is the flying going?" and at the same time kicking my bad ankle, I have been trying very hard not to go into an Ozzy Osbourne-esque tirade.
