I was not expressing an opinion or pushing a pro EASA view, rather I was trying to show that this is not "new rulings being ratified by some faceless wonders on Brussels" or "Back room boys have finally got it all together, and are enforcing this legislation upon us". The legislation, whatever we might think about it, has gone through the full democratic process and has been endorsed by our elected representatives.
