On the Baltic Aviation Academy web site , they claim to be operating Simulators in 10 Countries ?? in MSP (USA) are they sending people to the Pan Am flight academy ? they are the owners of a SF340 Simulator there?
Honestly, we can't comment about what Baltic's arrangements with various simulator operators are for other aircraft types. For the ERJ-145, they usually have arrangements with FlightSafety in Paris, but we were fortunate enough to be able to utilize the Tianjin Airlines sim at SATC in Sanya instead at preferred rates due to affiliations between their ownership and our own investors.
Baltic Aviation Academy worked with our Flight Operations team and Ghana Civil Aviation Authority to develop a GCAA approved type rating course (CBT, ground school and simulator instruction) for the ERJ-145. They were a very professional organisation in all their dealings with us and remain our Approved Training Organisation (indeed, the only ATO approved by GCAA to conduct ERJ-145 type ratings so far).
