OK this year...
Got made redundant as part of general worldwide fall out post Enron. Spent redundancy money and the whole "summer" getting my PPL (A) in a C152.
Converted to PA28 Archer.
Flew most of the way to Montpellier as part of club fly out in terrible weather. Instructor on board !
Got new job and hence more flying vouchers.
Finished night qualification
Finished IMC course and was due to take GFT yesterday but clouds at 300feet . Took written part yesterday and by some miracle got 100%.
Now looking for a share.....
