Odd thing - Folder Properties in WinXP
Just started to notice an odd thing in my installation of Windows XP Pro at home - if I select Properties for a folder, it takes around a minute to show the Properties screen.
- File system is FAT32
- Size of folder contents is irrelevant - a zero size folder produces exactly the same delay as a large one.
- Choosing properties of a file or number of files, however, is okay.
- Yes, I have scandisk and defrag'd.
Nothing major - I can live with this no problem. Any thoughts?
