SAS A321
With regards to the Malev pilots, some got offered jobs, but pretty clear from people have spoken to, that pilots used to Malev's conditions, would not be preferable choice for Wizz, as they work in a complete different way.
Would you expect BA pilots to want to go to work for Ryanair? I guess the company if employing to many Malev pilots would get some issues with regards to the company, as the Wizz air pilots are not used to getting same privileges as the pilots from Malev would have had.
It just shows that companies like Malev, Swiss (once upon a time), Alitalia was run wrong, SAS is one of the future companies, that could end in the same way. Terms and conditions secured by a time, when the companies had monopoly, and subsided by their national governments. I find it tragic to see how some of these companies survived with their in-bread politics and hiring policies, going on strike when they was making above average salaries, making the whole profession look like greedy people!
