Nairobi JKIA 1990
Going back a little ways,1970/80s the BA 747 service to JNB was always overnt LHR/NBO/JNB.Arriving into JKIA at around 0700 then onwards and then back through NBO later that evening with an overnt back to LHR often with a stop in FCO for fuel.
Then you had the MRU and SEZ flights which were all through NBO.In those days you had MK operating BA SVC10'S MRU/NBO/EBB/LHR.
In the 90's the NBO service switched from LHR to LGW this was around the mid 90s on the 747-400s.before going back to LHR.
The incident when a pax got into the flight deck and attacked the crew was on a LGW/NBO overnt service arriving into JKIA early the next morning.
Hope this helps?
