Canada's case for the V-22 SAR role
At Heli Expo Dallas a few weeks back, I picked up a copy of the Canadian Helicopters magazine (Jan-Feb 2012). There was an interesting article for putting a case forward for the V22 in the SAR role in the RCAF. This being light of the impending retirment of the CC-115 Buffalo currently used to complement the CH-149 Cormorant.
