I dont know your personal circumstances or how your funding your training but HSBC are offering a chance to those who THEY think have a chance of eventually getting a job as a paid pilot. The point we both should be making to Paul and others in his position is: If its what you really want then fine BUT you are in for a tough time and you may end up stacking shelves or worse to make your repayments also any money you manage to save WILL get spent on renewals
