starting probs HR200/120

I also fly a HR200 as a student PPL and this problem happens cold as well.
Only fitted with fuel pump and no primer as you suggest.
Priming is ahcieved by pumping throttle to full and back
hot should be easy enough - maybe 6 pumps at most.
Cold the a/c I am flying is a pig although it never used to be before it went for its annual.
