Well, to those who wants to apply, it'll be advisable to do so after turning at least 25. If not you might not get an immediate response or will only get one on a much later date. (Which you will then have a lot of uncertainties etc.)
However, there isn't a rule that you cannot apply earlier so it's pretty much up to you. The application window is still closed so maybe you guys might want to apply when it opens again.
However, bear in mind you won't be able to start training until you turn 26. So it is advisable to find some other work to do for the time being.
