Reminds me of when my ten year old son rang me at work to tell me that "there was something wrong with the computer". I was busy so I just told him to shut it down and reboot it.
Five minutes later he called me back. He calmly said: "Dad, it's no good, the smoke's still coming out the back".
And it was !!
