Correction I meant Part 147
Sure there is plenty of aviation training providers in WA but only Polytechnic west does the Aeroskills course and being a non Part 147 MTO then surely they cant hold the new EASA exams . Of course the self study route is being taken away.
According to AC 147-2(0) DECEMBER 2011,APPROVED PART 147 TRAINING ORGANISATIONS the only maintenance training schools are:
List Of Maintenance Training Schools (MTO) for the Conduct of Category
and Subcategory Training
* Aerospace Training Services PO Box 379 Berry NSW 2535 3
* Aviation Australia
* Kangan Batman TAFE
* TAFE NSW South Western Sydney Institute
* Padstow TAFE
As is mentioned in the Part66 handbook :
"CASA Part 66 licences will be issued to individuals who have completed training and competency assessment by a CASR Part 147-approved MTO."
