It increased the pressure of the airflow in the afterburner inlet and also increased the air-percentages (60-65% of the engine exhaust is air -- the bypass air is 100% oxygen)" Do you mean that the engine exhaust is 60-65% air and 35-40% combustion product gases and the bypass air was 100% air (21% oxygen) with no other gases?
