Did you ever contemplate that he has had the foresight/perception to identify that putting his head above the parapet will neither serve him well ( & maybe, just maybe if he ended up in such a sh1t-hole of a place he needs the Bucks ? ) nor will it change the attitude /behaviour of the tormentor.

If you think doing this hurts, I can assure you it would have hurt him a lot more doing it at home with the crumbs he saved from his 60¢ a day per-diems ,& no job. . . . . what will this achieve towards making the buffoon sitting in the Sim in Addis change his attitude ? I would suggest strictly Nada .

Sometimes in life, if you are a small dog, you have to just let the big dog bark.

It is called being realistic, sometimes it sucks, sometimes it keeps you your job, or in other circumstances your life.

It is sometimes wise to know which battles cannot be won & just move on.
