It is only human to feel some compassion for the F/O when you see another keen (although inexperienced) colleague being treated in such a despicable way but you will just have to harden up and ignore it, if you wish to pass. Making comments in defense of your first office only makes things worse.
Not interested in long-winded explanations of specific airline circumstances with which I am familiar through similar threads. There is categorically no excuse for any person who wishes to be considered a “professional” and/or “Captain” to sit idly by while his First Officer is treated in such a shameful way, either in the simulator or on the line. I suggest this individual finds his testis and defends his First Officer against the abuse. Alternatively, post his confession of poor leadership where the reaction will be more in support of his, apparent, submissive disposition.
