I would like to clarify that selection during the call from CAE seems to be based mainly on 3 things:
ATPL results - only 1 retake allowed and no average mark was mentioned
CPL and IR+ME - You need first time passes or first series passes. I dont think they will take fails
And finally if you are currently flying - They seem to be quite happy with FIs
