Well the plans to alter the road layout for the summer season must be dead in the water now. Abertis must have drawn up its plans without knowing the council was looking at expanding the capacity of the airport.
The new 2012 proposed road around the short term car park which basically follows the temporary route that relieves congestion sits in the middle of the proposed new apron.
The drop off and pick up area appears to be inside a multistory car park.
Looks like the old terminal and arrivals area are going to be reconfigured. Much of this area is now disused after the demise of Silverjet. Much of the old departure lounge including abandoned shops and bars still remain.
