At the moment Ocean Sky have enough room to park quite a lot of exec aircraft on the part of the south stands they rent. If that fills up there is stand 10 which fronts their hangar. With an expanded stand 10 which looks like it will be expanded over the footprint of the old Britannia Ops building plus the new mini apron by the flying club will Ocean end up with more or less apron space? I would say less
Britannia House is also positioned further away from
the Central Terminal Area, which will enable Ocean
Sky to operate from a location of enhanced privacy – a
significant consideration for many clients.
Would have thought the south stands have more privacy than their new proposed aprons which are next to Joe Public aircraft stands and opposite the entrance to the walkways where people like to stand and look out of the windows
