In a way, I feel compassion for Wizz. Within two weeks got a competitor on some twenty of its routes and this rival, Ryanair, is probably on of the worst.
I only hope they (W6) will be smart/ wise enough to withdraw or reduce flights on some routes where price war will lead to loss of the profitability.
There are still some niche areas in Europe. Like the one from my own country: Lappeenranta (St. Petersburg West). That's the place FR didn't know how to proceed. Wizz knows Eastern Europe better than Ryanair. Targeting Russians in their language, providing the airport transfers across the border, learning to serve a bit different customers. Would be a pity to burn money elsewhere only in the name of competition.
