Well the past 3 and a half years has been bad for most airlines ie:credit crunch,now euro zone going tits,and the uk threat of a double dip recession. So as far as waiting around the answer is no,I have been trying lots of different options but as you know with lots of carriers going bust there are a lot of pilots out there with plenty of hours on type looking for a job. Just poor timing, 2008 I had a interview with Bmi cancelled,interview with monarch placed in hold pool, interview with Air Arabia passed there assessment but put on hold.
