Gr8 Mate!

I met Al (and Kanga) in the early 70's when he was a QWI on my Hunter course at Brawdy. It rapidly became clear that he was one of the best, esp with the time and experience he gave to us students. We bounced off each other ever since, on Jaguars, in bars, flying historics and more lately as Auster owners. His willingness to help, impart knowledge or just to share banter was second to none.

Sad loss, great mate, good bloke are too small a way to describe him, he really was one of the best.

We'll miss you Al!
