If you choose the B1900 program in the US, be aware that it is a single pilot operation and the pilot is not required to have you onboard. You definitely will be loading cargo (not necessarily a bad thing), you might get to tune the radios, and if the aircraft is close on Max weight, you will be left behind for cargo. There are some captains at this 135 company that specifically request "no FOs".

If your eaglejet US operation B1900 position was really a required crew member position, there is no way that you would be able to get a visa for the program.
